The inspection
What Cheuk looks at before the water.
Every rug gets the same walk-around, with photographs. These are the six things on a sample inspection note.

- 1
Dye test
A damp white cloth, pressed on each color.
- 2
Edges and binding
Loose threads and worn binding, photographed.
- 3
Pile wear
Where the rug is thin from foot traffic or furniture.
- 4
Stains and spots
Marked, photographed and named.
- 5
Fringe
Original or sewn on, firm or brittle.
- 6
The back
Foundation, rot and any moth damage.
Sample content.
Start to finish
Who does what, in order.
From your first photograph to the rug back on your floor.
- 01Your part
Step 1: You send a photograph
The whole rug, the back and a rough size, by form or text. You choose how we reach you.
- 02Ours
Step 2: Sona writes the estimate
By the next business day: the wash, the pickup and return, and what we expect to treat.
- 03Ours
Step 3: Pickup
Travon or Angeles comes on your area's day. They measure, photograph the rug on your floor, roll it and tag it.
- 04Ours
Step 4: Inspection
At the workshop, before water. If we find anything that changes the work, we stop and send photographs and a revised estimate.
- 05Ours
Step 5: Wash and dry
Dust out, hand wash, rinse, flat drying with fans. This is most of the time the rug is away.
- 06Together
Step 6: Return
The rug comes back rolled in paper, with the card on what we did. You approve it on the floor.
Start with a photograph.
One of the whole rug and one of the back. We'll write back by the next business day.
