About us
Sona Agopian learned to wash rugs at her father's bench and still does the first look at every rug that comes in. Her brother Haig runs the washing. Between them and six others, the workshop handles wool and oriental rugs from Philadelphia's rowhouses and the Main Line's big houses.
We photograph each rug at pickup, at inspection, after the wash and back on your floor, so you can see what we saw. If we find something we didn't expect, we stop and write to you before we go on.
We are a family business. We don't wash wall-to-wall carpet or upholstery, and we say so.
